I started my photography experience in 2010 when my husband gifted me a Nikon D3000.  It traveled with me everywhere as I learned photography by trial and error. Along the way I have been influenced by several professional photographers in my life, who have helped further guide and hone my skills.  I pride myself in the "quick and painless" family photography approach, understanding that lives are busy and not everyone loves being in front of the lens. Keeping things light and fun "on set" are key to the natural smiles and interactions that I love capturing.  I continue to be a fully self-taught artist who learns something new with each session.
